We want a society where there is no need to guard temples: Dr. Shafikur

Spread the love

Jamaat Amir Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said that the credit of the August 5 public uprising does not belong to any party, its credit belongs only to the students. Students have freed the country from fascism by shedding fresh blood. Although behind this there is the sacrifice of many of our martyrs. The movement that began with the sacrifice of 57 meritorious army officers in the BDR uprising in 2009 ended with the fall of fascism at the cost of the blood of thousands of martyrs on August 5.

He said that there has been a temporary change in the country after August 5. To give it a permanent form, righteous people’s rule and God’s law are necessary. We want to earn the true love of countrymen through work. Where all citizens will enjoy equal rights above party-opinion. We do not want minority-statistical discrimination. We want to build a society where there will be no need for guards in temples like mosques. If anyone wants to destroy our harmony, we must stop them unitedly. If you want to love your country, you have to change yourself first.

He said this while speaking as the chief guest at the workers conference organized by Sylhet Mahanagar Jamaat at Kushiara International Convention Hall in South Surmar at 3:30 pm on Friday.

Under the chairmanship of Central Working Council member and Amir Muhammad Fakhrul Islam, secretary Muhammad Shahjahan Ali, hundreds of workers of the metropolis attended the conference.

He also said that on October 28, 2006, Bangladesh lost its way amid the joy of killing people in the Logi-Vaitha rampage. That Bangladesh is back on track on August 5, 2024. Our students and youth have achieved the impossible. We have seen that a mother took a one-and-a-half-year-old child on the street because she had no older children. The 70-year-old man was also on the streets with his martyrdom. A nation that can take to the streets from one and a half year old children to 70 year olds can no longer be suppressed.

After a long time, there was excitement among the leaders and activists of all levels of the Sylhet Metropolitan Jamaat, centered around the workers’ conference. Before 3 o’clock, the Kushiara convention hall was crowded. At one point the hall was seen to be filled to the brim with the crowd of workers present.

Jamaat-e-Islami Central Assistant Secretary General Advocate Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair, Central Executive Council Member and Dhaka Metropolitan North Amir Muhammad Salim Uddin, Central Majlis Shura Member Maulana Habibur Rahman, District North Amir Hafiz Anwar Hossain Khan, District South Amir Principal addressed the conference as special guests. Abdul Hannan.

In the speech of the chief guest Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami was the most oppressed during the fallen fascist government. They hanged our top leaders and martyred them in cases of crimes against humanity. Today they are identified as criminals against humanity in history. Our 2 top leaders served in two ministries. But there was no proof of even two rupees of corruption against them. Because they were the leaders of the movement to establish his religion in the land of Allah. Jamaat wants to give the gift of such leadership. Wants to build a prosperous Bangladesh free from terrorism and corruption. For this, a group of believers is needed. Through the final oath a worker can acquire the leadership qualities of the Islamic movement.

He also said that the country has been constitutionally independent 2 times and politically 3 times. After the Great War of Liberation, Awami League banned not only all political parties, but also its own party and established Bakshal. They killed 34,000 people by forming a guard to protect groups and clans instead of the country. The people of the country were fed up with their corruption, looting and oppression. That is why the nation rejected them for a long time. A’League once again came to power in 1996 after apologizing to the nation for its past mistakes. When they came to power, they left a pile of dead bodies in the country. He destroyed the country through corruption and looting. Fed up with their tyranny, a 4-party coalition came to power in 2001. Then Sheikh Hasina said, don’t let this government stay in peace even for a minute. He did so. After coming to power with the Fakhr-Moin government, Sheikh Hasina has been oppressing the people for the last one and a half centuries. They have gifted the nation – case after case, house to house attack. People’s right to vote, right to rice, right to speak, right to trial were taken away. God forgives, but does not give up. When the oppression of Awami fascists crossed all limits. Only then, with the help of Allah, the student movement and the fall of fascism was confirmed. Here are the lessons of history for fascist regimes.

Majed Mahfuz spoke at the conference initiated by reciting the Holy Quran and were present – Jamaat’s Sylhet region team member Hafiz Abdul Hai Haroon, Imam and Khatib of East London Mosque Maulana Alim Hussain Khan, Assistant Secretary of Sylhet Metropolitan Jamaat Advocate Mohammad Abdur Rob, Dr. Nurul Islam Babul and Zahedur Rahman Chowdhury, former Chhatra Shibir leader Sultan Ahmad and Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir Sylhet Metropolitan President Sharif Mahmud and others.

Artist Rasedul Hasan Russell performed a solo Islamic song at the conference. The artists of Sylhet Sangsik Sangsad performed Islamic music in collective voice.

In the speech of the special guest, Advocate Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair said that the country has been freed from fascism after a century and a half. We want to play a leading role in building a country free from fascism in exchange for the blood of thousands of martyrs. Through beautiful and attractive characters, we want to form qualified leadership to meet the expectations of the nation. We have to attract people to Islam not only by words, but by character and practice. The mass awakening that has been created in favor of Islam in the country should be utilized. Therefore, the Dawa activities should be spread in the alleys, neighborhoods and neighborhoods of Punyabhoomi Sylhet. Then it will be possible to form an orderly humanitarian Bangladesh.

In the speech of the special guest, Muhammad Salim Uddin said that people’s interest in Islam and Islamic movement is increasing in the country after August 5. Amir Jamaat Dr. Shafiqur Rahman and Jamaat leaders wherever they go, I can see the unbridled enthusiasm of people. The Bangladesh of the future will be the Bangladesh of Islam. Jamaat is working towards that goal. The fascists wanted to wipe us out through state terror. They were forced to accept defeat and flee. But their conspiracy still continues. But those conspiracies will not allow the patriotic crowd to succeed. The invitation of the Islamic movement must be conveyed to people of all walks of life. It was not possible to eliminate Jamaat in the past by carrying out oppression. No one will be able to eliminate the Jamaat in the future, inshallah
