Our team has a tradition, an old team. There is involvement with the development of the country, there is experience in running the state. Despite that, there is no objection even if the discussion on the state reform is not called. But we are being widely campaigned outside.
He said these things to reporters after visiting the grave of late HM Ershad, founding chairman of the Jatiya Party, at Palli Nibas in Rangpur on Saturday evening.
GM Quader said, we participated in the election during the Awami League. For this they are called friends. But everyone knows, we did not want to participate in the last election of Awami League. Kind of forced me to make a choice. We have been attacked. Party offices were vandalized in many places. The government could not provide the security that we were supposed to provide.
Jatiya Party chairman said, when the government took over, there was nothing to say about the government system. The government has taken responsibility with the goal of meeting the high expectations of the people with the very fragile economy. It is not possible to do everything in two months. We hope they can. So government needs to give time. Jatiya Party will cooperate with the government – I can assure you that.
