Asif Nazrul said, the Supreme Judicial Council has already been formed according to our constitution. The Chief Justice and the two most senior judges of the Appellate Division are constituted together. If someone files a complaint against a judge today, the process will begin.
The legal adviser said that the high court is completely independent, they will take action as they see fit. However, we feel that the students got a forum to present their grievances to the appropriate authorities. I would like to see this as a positive development.
He also said that since there was no Supreme Judicial earlier, there was no forum to ensure the accountability of the High Court.
