Student politics will be led by honest and patriotic leaders

Since the Awami League government took power, the Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir could not hold public events due to arrests, jails, oppression and torture. For the first time since the mass uprising of the students, the organization held a meeting with the journalists with the full committee on Saturday. The meeting was held at Bagicha restaurant in Segunbagicha of the capital at noon. 

Central president Manjurul Islam said that Chhatrashibir wants a student politics where honest, skilled and patriotic leaders will work on the basis of ideals. Their aim is to build a tolerant and civilized political environment, where there is respect and cooperation among all student organizations.

Manjurul Islam presided over and Secretary General Zahidul Islam conducted the meeting among the central leaders of the student camp – office secretary Nurul Islam, publication editor Azizur Rahman Azad, publicity editor Dr. Sadek Abdullah, HRD Secretary Abdur Rahim, Student Welfare Secretary Abdullah Al Mamun, Legal Secretary Advocate Abdullah Al Noman, School Secretary Siddique Ahmed, Finance Secretary Mizbah Uddin, Cultural Secretary Ahmed Tawfiq, Planning Secretary Usama Rayan, Debate Secretary Mizbahul Karim, Sports Secretary Asaduzzaman of Dhaka.
