Jamaat’s central Naib Amir and former MP Maulana ANM Shamsul Islam said that if the ummah is to be liberated, the steel-hard unity of the scholars and the people who believe in Islamic values, forgetting the petty differences, is the need of the hour.
He said this while speaking as the chief guest at the Ulama-Mashayekh Conference organized by Chittagong Metropolitan Jamaat at GEC Convention Center in Chittagong city on Saturday (October 12) afternoon.
He said, those who were killed while establishing the religion of Allah in the land of Allah are not dead but they are alive. Allah Ta’ala has declared this in the Holy Qur’an. So all Tawheed people must be united in at least one place. That is, to continue the struggle to establish Islam in all areas of life. Scholars and Islamic parties have been working towards this goal for years. If we continue to advance in this way, maybe the day is not far away, when the people of Bangladesh will see a justice-based welfare state.’
Maulana Momtazur Rahman, Secretary of the Ulama Division of Chittagong Metropolitan Jamaat chaired it and the special guests were the Central Assistant Secretary of the Jamaat Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan, Maulana Muhammad Shahjahan, former MP Shahjahan Chowdhury, Amir of Chittagong Metropolitan Jamaat and Vice Principal of Tamirul Millat Kamil Madrasa Dr. Khalilur Rahman Madani and others.
In addition, in the conference, Vice President of Chittagong Jamaat, Muhammad Nazrul Islam, Dr. AJM Obaid Ullah, Secretary Principal Nurul Amin, Assistant Secretary Faisal Muhammad Yunus, Heads of different madrasas of Chittagong including Mohammad Ullah and leading scholars of different genres were present. The need for the unity of the Islamic parties emerges in the speech of all.
