Eight people, including four children, were killed when a private car fell into a canal in Kadamtala area of Pirojpur Sadar. The accident took place at 2:30 am on Wednesday. Details of the victims were not immediately available.
Talha bin Jaseem, officer of media cell of fire service, confirmed the matter and told the media that a private car lost control and fell into the canal at Kadamtala market in Pirojpur at around 2 o’clock on Wednesday, killing a total of eight people, including four children. Four of the victims are from the same family. Among them are two men, two women and four children.
