A female police sergeant was killed by a gunman in the southern city of Beersheba on Sunday afternoon. At least 10 people were injured. The Israeli police reported this information.
According to a report of the Times of Israel, the name of the dead female policeman is Shira Suslik. Suslik, 19, was a sergeant in Israel’s border police.
A gunman entered a McDonald’s in the southern city’s central bus station. He shot at the people there. The Magen David Adom Ambulance Service said at least 10 people were injured in the attack. The injured were taken to Soroka Medical Center for treatment. Among the injured, a woman is in critical condition. Four men were also hospitalized. The remaining five were given first aid.
The IDF said the gunman was shot dead. His name is Ahmad Al-Uqbi (29). He lived in the unknown Bedouin village of Uqbi near Hura in the country. Earlier there was a case record against him.
