Hasnat Abdullah, one of the coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement, expressed concern over the failure of the interim government to break the syndicate.
In a Facebook post on Wednesday (October 9), he wrote, ‘Only the syndicate’s signboard has changed.’
Highlighting the increase in the price of eggs, he writes, ‘Only in the caravan market, it is changed four times while it is in the truck.’
Hasnat also questioned the initial significance of this coup if the syndicate could not be broken and the prices controlled.
