Amir of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami said that nothing will be forced on women. Shafiqur Rahman.

He said that while Awami League was sending Islam away from Bangladesh forever, they themselves have been expelled today. Awami League considered the clerics and scholars as their main enemy. Because the clerics want to establish an Islamic state in Bangladesh on the basis of unity. They have spread various propaganda against Islam and Islamic State. They used to scare women and preach that if Jamaat-e-Islami comes to power, there will be no freedom for women. But the Holy Prophet took women in the battlefield, women did business, women preached religion. If the Islamic state is established in Bangladesh, then asking why women will be confined at home, Ameer Jamaat said that under the leadership of Jamaat-e-Islami in the future, men and women will play an equal role in the formation of new Bangladesh. Nothing will be forced on women.

He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the Chapainawabganj District Jamaat’s Rukon Conference on Saturday (October 19) morning.

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, ‘180 million people of the country are victims of Awami League’s oppression. Many of the leaders and workers of their own party had to be victims of their oppression. They looted, occupied, money-laundered and terrorized as best they could for the past 15-and-a-half years. They killed their own leaders and workers in the dispute of Bhag-Batwara. Genocide to maintain power. Even a one-and-a-half-month-old baby in his mother’s arms was not spared from their massacre. Awami League killed children and teenagers, men and women. In protest of their oppression, Sheikh Hasina not only resigned but fled the country along with her party.

He said, Awami League does not believe in democracy and elections. They seized power in the disputed 9th National Assembly elections in 2008 and abolished the caretaker government system and held 3 elections under their own hands. One-sided elections in 2014, night voting in 2018, dummy voting in 2024 played a joke on the people. The country has wasted several lakhs of rupees. If they believed in democracy and elections, they would not have done the mock elections. Those who talk about Awami League coming to the polls today, I will say that to come to the polls, the Awami League must first become people. Then the people of the country will decide whether the Awami League can hold elections or not.

In the speech of the special guest, member of the central executive council of Jamaat-e-Islami and the Amir of Dhaka Metropolitan South Md. Nurul Islam Bulbul said, Awami League’s aim was to eliminate Islam from Bangladesh forever by killing scholars. As a part of this, Awami League has killed people by beating people with log-stools on October 28, 2006, killing Islamic clerics in Shapla square on May 5, 2013, hanging the top leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami and killing numerous clerics and general public. Awami League established 14 banks in their 15 years of power. Instead of establishing these banks for the welfare of the people, they looted people’s money and smuggled it abroad through these banks. Islami Bank established by Jamaat-e-Islami has played a leading role in the country’s economy. Awami League has put a paw on that Islamic bank. Islami Bank has financially broken its back. If Jamaat-e-Islami gets a chance, it will enrich the economy and make the Islamic Bank a bank of the people. There is no substitute for honest and dedicated leadership in building a new Bangladesh. And that honest and devoted leadership is in Jamaat-e-Islami.

He called upon the leaders and workers to play their role with the people to build a humane Bangladesh without discrimination.

Nurul Islam Bulbul said to the people of Chapainawabganj that those who have stolen the votes of the people of Chapainawabganj-3 (Sadar) seat, have stolen people’s money and smuggled it abroad. In the future, if the people of Chapainawabganj-3 (Sadar) Parliamentary Constituency put the responsibility of the people of this region on my shoulders, then no one will be allowed to play tricks with the fate of the people. Chapainawabganj Sadar Constituency will be developed as a modern area of Bangladesh. There will be no discrimination in this society. Every citizen shall enjoy the rights due to the State. He urged the people of Chapainawabganj to play a special role in establishing an Islamic state.

Chapainwabganj District Jamaat Ameer Maulana Abuzar Gifari also spoke at the Rukon conference, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Central Executive Council Member and Rajshahi Region Zone Director Principal Shahabuddin, Central Working Council Member and Rajshahi Region Assistant Zone Director Professor Rafiqul Islam, Central Working Council Member and former Chapainwabganj District Amir. And former municipal mayor Prof. Nazrul Islam, former MP Prof. Latifur Rahman, Supreme Court lawyer Moshiur Rahman, district secretary Prof. Abu Bakar etc.
