Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central working council member and secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan North. Muhammad Rezaul Karim said that Jamaat-e-Islami has been working tirelessly to establish a peaceful society free from hunger, poverty and discrimination since its inception.

He said these things at the distribution ceremony for the rehabilitation of 350 flood-affected families organized by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Chandraganj Upazila branch in Lakshipur on Saturday (October 19).

Dr. Rezaul Karim said, today we have come forward with limited capacity to rehabilitate the victims. If someone benefits at least from this, I will consider our labor to have been worthwhile. He called upon everyone to work together regardless of party affiliation for the welfare and liberation of humanity.

He said that the welfare and liberation of humanity is the political philosophy of the Jamaat. Basically, it is the responsibility of the state to solve all problems, including alleviating the plight of every citizen. But as the welfare state is not established in the country, the people are deprived of the welfare of the state. But state vacuum cannot be solved at individual and organizational level. Although our effort is great, our ability is very limited. Still we are trying our best to be with the welfare of the endangered people with our limited capacity. If the Islamic welfare state was established in the country, all the problems of the people would have been solved by the state. There was no need to stand in line and shake hands with people. So there is no alternative to make the country an Islamic welfare state to solve all the problems and ensure the rights of the people. He called upon all to unite under the flag of Jamaat to establish that dream society.

He said, Jamaat is a people-oriented and idealistic political organization. We are working tirelessly to guarantee the rights of people by establishing good governance in the country. We want to establish a society where there will be no discrimination between people. No one will be insulted or insulted in that society, regardless of high or low, rich or poor, caste, caste, religion or caste. Above all, the basic rights that Islam has given to people will also be properly ensured. Irrespective of religion-caste, class-profession, men-women, children-old people, everyone will get their rights guaranteed. He urged everyone to unite and work in the field with the conviction of establishing an ideal society.

Under the chairmanship of Thana Amir Mustafa Molla, Nayeb Amir Noor Mohammad Russell, Secretary Rezaul Islam Khan Sumon, Mandari Union Amir Abdul Khalek, Secretary Mahfuzur Rahman, UP member Kausar Hamid and others were present.
