Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central working council member and Dhaka metropolitan south secretary Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud said that if the Islamic state is not established, the next government will exploit the workers like the Awami League.
He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the labor conference organized by the Bangladesh Labor Welfare Federation of Baufal Upazila of Patuakhali on Monday (October 7) morning.
He said that after independence, the exploited workers had to give their lives for the last 53 years while agitating for their rights. But even today the rights of workers have not been established. People are deprived of their rights when those in power try to perpetuate their ideology. The movement to establish the religion of Allah has been made obligatory just like prayer and fasting. Human rights will not be established until the religion of Allah, Islam, is established on the soil of Bengal.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami does not do politics for power, Jamaat-e-Islami does the movement of Deen Qayyam. Many leaders and activists of Jamaat-e-Islam had to face assault cases, jails, oppression and even many leaders and activists had to give their lives while carrying out this Deen Qayyim movement. However, none of the Jamaat-e-Islami leaders backed down from the movement of Deen Qaim, the movement to establish people’s rights. Even none of the activists have fled the country, they are with the people. Those who have exploited the peasants-labourers and taken away people’s rights have fled the country.
Jamaat-e-Islami is continuing the movement to establish Islam in this country with the farmers, workers and students. The initial victory of the people was achieved by the fascist Awami League fleeing the country. But the final victory will come through the establishment of Islam.
If Islam is established in this country, no one will have to give blood or life to get their rights. The program of Jamaat-e-Islami is to establish the basic rights of people, to guarantee the basic freedom of people.
Dr. Masud also said that when Islam was established in Bangladesh, Omar said It will be created, or Salman F Rahman will be created from house to house. House to house Hazrat Fatima. A woman will be created, or a woman like Hasina, a house-to-house murderer, will be created. He called upon the present labor leaders to come under the shadow of Jamaat-e-Islami for the formation of new Bangladesh.
Bangladesh Sramik Kalyan Federation Baufal Upazila President Md. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Patuakhali District Ameer Professor Shah Alam spoke as a special guest in the labor conference held under the chairmanship of Abul Hossain, Bangladesh Labor Welfare Federation Barisal Region Deputy Director.
