The results of this year’s HSC and equivalent examinations held under the 11 education boards of the country will be published today at 11 am on Tuesday. This is the first time that this result is not being announced centrally through any program in Dhaka. Different education boards will publish their results independently.
Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordinating Committee President and Dhaka Education Board Chairman Prof. Tapan Kumar Sarkar told BASS that the results will not be announced by the head of government or the chief advisor or the education advisor. This time the chairmen of the education board will announce the results of their respective boards at 11 am.
He said, today at 11 am we will give the result of Dhaka Education Board as well as the statistics of Inter Education Board results. Apart from this, the higher secondary results of all the boards will also be published simultaneously at 11 am in educational institutions and online.
This time also the result of HSC and equivalent examination can be known by SMS from any mobile phone besides the websites of the educational institutes and boards.
Dhaka Education Board said in a circular on Wednesday that after entering the name of the educational institution, you can download the institution-wise results by going to the website of the Dhaka Board
(www.dhakaeducationboard.gov.bd) and the integrated website of the boards
(www.educationboardresults.gov.bd) and clicking on the result corner. Besides, candidates can know the result by typing roll and registration number. It will be known through SMS on the mobile phone after the release of the result.
To know the result of HSC, write EIIN and write the first three letters of the name of the education board with a space, write the roll number with a space, write 2024 with a space and send it to 16222. Result will come in return sms.
Due to the anti-discrimination movement of students and the events after the fall of the government, it was not possible to take the remaining exams after seven subjects of higher secondary. In the face of the demands of some students, the Ministry of Education announced that the remaining exams would not be conducted later.
This year the HSC and equivalent exams started on June 30. But Sylhet board exam started on July 9 due to flood. A total of 14 lakh 50 thousand 790 candidates participated in this year’s HSC. The number of candidates in 9 general education boards was 11 lakh 28 thousand 281. On the other hand, a total of 88 thousand 76 people participated in the Alim exam. There were 2 lakh 34 thousand 433 candidates in HSC (BM/BMT), HSC (Vocational) and Technical Education Board.
