The two coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement said that a siege program would be held to demand the resignation of the ‘fascist judges of the Awami League’.

Hasnat Abdullah, the coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement, wrote in a post from his verified Facebook account on Tuesday night that they will besiege the High Court on Wednesday morning to demand the resignation of the fascist judges of Awami League. Another coordinator of anti-discrimination student movement, Sarjis Alam, posted the same post shortly after.

Sarjis wrote in the comment box of this post, ‘The state is not able to function properly because of the agents of this murderous Hasina. The country cannot move forward until they are overthrown.

Earlier on Tuesday, pro-Awami League lawyers staged a protest at the Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) court premises. After the fall of the Awami League government in the students’ movement, this was the first time that the supporters of the party held a public program in the court area. Then at night, Sarjis and Hasnat called for a siege of the High Court.
