Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has claimed the killing of Israeli soldiers in the southern Palestinian city of Rafah. On Monday (October 14), Qatar-based media Al Jazeera reported this information.
According to the report, Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, said that Israeli forces were trying to enter a residential building in Rafah, a town south of Gaza City. At this time, Hamas fighters detonated an antipersonnel device. Some Israeli soldiers were killed and some were injured.
The source also said that the incident took place in a town on the outskirts of Rafah Al Zeina.
Qassam Brigades also reported that two Israeli Markava tanks were destroyed by Hamas fighters in the same area. At this time they use Yasin rocket system.
