Gusts of up to 60 km/h are forecast in 13 regions

The Meteorological Department has predicted that storms with a maximum speed of 60 km per hour may blow over 13 regions of the country during the night.

This information was given in the weather forecast for the country’s inland river ports on Friday (September 27) until 1:00 p.m.

Meteorologist Md. Manowar Hossain said, temporary gust with rain/thundershower with speed of 45-60 km per hour from south/south-west direction over Rangpur, Dinajpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogra, Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Faridpur, Jessore, Kushtia, Khulna and Sylhet areas. / A storm may blow. River ports in these areas have been asked to display 1(one) number (re) 1(one) warning signal.

According to another forecast, the extension of monsoon axis extends over Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal and central Bangladesh to Assam. An extension of it extends to the northern Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay of Bengal.

Light to moderate rain/thunder with gusty winds may occur at many places of Rangpur division, a few places of Mymensingh, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and a couple of places of Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barisal divisions till Saturday (September 28) morning. Along with that, moderate heavy rainfall may occur in some parts of the country. Night temperature may increase by 1-3 degree Celsius in Sardesh.

From Saturday morning to Sunday (September 29) morning, some places of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and one or two places of Dhaka, Khulna and Barisal divisions may experience light to moderate rain/thunder with gusty winds. Along with that, moderate heavy rainfall may occur in some parts of the country. Day and night temperatures may increase slightly in Sardezhda.

From Sunday morning to Monday (September 30) morning, some parts of Mymensingh, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and two or two places of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barisal divisions may experience light to moderate rain/thunder with gusty winds temporarily. Along with that, moderate heavy rainfall may occur in some parts of the country. Day and night temperatures may increase slightly across the country. Rainfall trends may increase towards the end of extended five days.
