Amir of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has a courtesy meeting with Palestine Ambassador to Bangladesh Yusuf Saleh Y. Ramadan
The Ambassador of Palestine visited the central office of the Jamaat on Wednesday (October 16) and met with the Ameer Jamaat. After meeting Dr. Ameer Jamaat. Shafiqur Rahman and Palestinian ambassador Yusuf Saleh Y. Ramadan addressed a brief press briefing.
Amir Jamaat said in a short speech. Shafiqur Rahman said, “Like all the Muslim countries of the world, we have a sincere relationship with Palestine forever and this relationship will remain intact in the future, Insha’Allah.” Palestine has long been and is currently an oppressed country. Inhuman torture is going on against them. The number of martyrs is increasing day by day. In this situation, all the people of Bangladesh have support for Palestine, irrespective of their party. Our prayers, love, cooperation, support for Palestine have and will continue in the future. We want Palestine to stand as a nation state with full independence in the world. Because this place is a place where the memories of many prophets are buried. Baitul Muqaddas, the first Qibla of Muslims, is located on this ground. Expressing my sincere love, respect and sympathy to the deprived and suffering brothers and sisters of Palestine. May Allah accept those who were killed in Palestine as martyrs and may Allah bless the wounded with good health. Our prayers, love, cooperation and support to all the suffering people of Palestine will continue in the future, inshallah.”
Honorable Ambassador of Palestine Mr. Yusuf Saleh Y. Ramadan said in his brief speech, “Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Honorable Amir Dr. I feel blessed to have met Shafiqur Rahman. On behalf of the people of Palestine, I express my sincere gratitude for the meaningful love, support and cooperation of the people of Bangladesh towards Palestine, especially the Gaza Strip. Also, as the ambassador of Palestine, I hope that the meaningful support, help and cooperation of Bangladesh, especially Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, towards the people of Palestine will continue in the future, inshallah.”
