The leaders of the anti-discrimination students’ platform of ordinary students have again announced a blockade program across the country by reducing the quota reform movement to a single demand in the ongoing four-point demand.Nahid Islam, one of the coordinators of the movement, announced this new program at the end of the blockade program at Shahbagh on Sunday (July 7) at 8 pm.He said that the main blockade movement will start in front of the Central Library of Dhaka University on Monday (July 8) at 3:30 pm. Moreover, this blockade program will start in all public universities and colleges across the country at the same time.The current one-point demand of the students is that the law should be passed in the parliament to abolish all kinds of unreasonable and discriminatory quotas in all grades.
