Besides, the leaders of various political parties emphasized in the dialogue to keep the country’s law and order forces, market syndicates and daily commodity prices under control. 14 parties including Awami League and Jatiya Party as allies have been demanded to be banned in the dialogue because of democracy and genocide.
The top leaders of the political parties expressed these views in a dialogue with the Chief Advisor at the Rashtriya Guest House Yamuna from Saturday afternoon to night. Interim government held this dialogue with the political parties in the third phase. At 3 pm the dialogue started first with the public forum. The dialogue ended with a discussion with the Bangladesh National Party-BJP at night.
Today, the Chief Adviser also held separate dialogues with the top leaders of Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), National Liberation Council, National People’s Front, 12 Party Alliance, National Unity, National Democratic Movement (NDM), Bangladesh Labor Party, Bangladesh Jasad (Ekangsh). Later, the top leaders of the parties spoke to the journalists on behalf of their respective parties.

Mustafa Mohsin said that they talked about the election in the dialogue and said that there should be a free and fair election commission. There needs to be a search committee or something, to hire good people. So that there is no problem like in the past.
Co-chairman SM Altaf Hossain, Subrat Chowdhury, member secretary Mizanur Rahman, member AKM Jaglul Haider Afrik, Mohiuddin Abdul Quader, Moshtaq Ahmed and Suraiya Begum were also present in the dialogue on behalf of the public forum.
Meanwhile, Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) President Col. (Retd.) Oli Ahmed demanded to ban Awami League during the dialogue with the Chief Adviser. He said, ‘We the whole nation went into a war in July-August. This war was fought against Awami League. Why the war against them? Because they used the police unfairly. Abused the administration. Faced with the people. has pushed the country towards destruction, the country has become corrupt.’
About the election deadline, Oli Ahmed said, ‘I will build the house first, then I will think about which room I will stay in. Now the brick casting has just started.’
This LDP leader also said, ‘Many of our children were killed in July-August. More than 1500 children have died. Many say there will be more which has no account. Many bodies are being burned. 15 to 20 thousand people were injured in various ways.’
Referring to the role of Jamaat in 1971, Ali Ahmad said, ‘Jamaat opposed the liberation war and took a stand for Pakistan. We banned them that day. Why Awami League will not be banned today? Awami League should be banned. Because Awami League has fought against 18 crore people. They have no right to do politics.’

Bangladesh Jatiya Party-BJP Chairman Andalib Rahman Parth said, as a political party, no action is being taken against Awami League and 14 parties. Banning or banning is not important. A measure must be taken. Whether Awami League will be banned by an executive order or by an order from the High Court is another matter, but that process should begin.
Parth said, I said you will not undertake any reforms that should be undertaken by a democratic government. It would be better if your reforms are election-oriented reforms. There may be remaining proposals, which may be made by the next government
The head of the 12-party alliance and the chairman of the Jatiya Party (Zafar) Mustafa Jamal Haider said, “We have asked to remove the ghouls of the fascist government who are still in the administration. Due to the increase in the price of goods, I have talked about taking measures to sell daily necessities through trucks in important cities including Dhaka. The Chief Adviser said, he will take whatever steps are necessary to control commodity prices.
Syed Ehsanul Huda said that the government formed in the revolution of the students must now act revolutionary and eradicate the root of fascism. Those who have supported fascism should also be brought under the law and tried. A 14-point written proposal was given by the 12-party coalition in the dialogue.
Nationalist like-minded coalition coordinator Dr. Fariduzzaman Farhad said that reforms will continue as reforms. I have asked the government to provide an election roadmap. The reform commission has been demanded to complete its activities within 90 days.
Bangladesh Labor Party President Mostafizur Rahman Iran said, we have said that no matter how many reforms, the advisory council must be reformed first. Apart from the success of a handful of people in this council, everyone else has failed. So the losers have to be removed quickly.
The Nationalist Democratic Movement (NDM) has demanded immediate withdrawal of all cases against BNP Acting Chairman Tariq Rahman in a dialogue with the Chief Adviser. Chairman of the party, Bobby Hajjaz, said that several issues including reforms were discussed in the dialogue. We have said that it is possible to hold elections easily after June 2025 and they should try that way. They have assured us that they will be in regular discussions with us.
Earlier, on October 5, the Chief Advisor held a dialogue with five parties and three alliances including BNP-Jamaat.
Mahfuz Alam, Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser at the press conference after the dialogue, said that the demand for banning Awami League and Jatiya Party along with 14 parties has also been raised in the dialogue.
He said, Awami League and 14 parties are banned or affiliated with many parties such as Jatiya Party (dialogue). But they (Japa) gave silent support and participated in illegal elections. The government is reviewing them. The decision will be based on further discussion with the political parties, the government will not take the decision alone. The government will take a decision on this after talking to all the political parties and stakeholders. But the Interim Government told the political parties that they (National Party) were allies of fascism and expressed consent to the genocide and stood in the field, directly against the people. A similar opinion has been expressed on their behalf.
