BNP Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas said, we used to say we want Bangladesh without Hasina. Today we got Bangladesh without Hasina, now we have to do Bangladesh without Awami. He said these things at a discussion meeting organized by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami on Monday. He said, Awami League is gone, we are happy to think about it. But there is no reason to be happy. Their fodder is still Bangladesh’s politics, culture, secretariat, police, military – where they say, their fodder remains. Under no circumstances can you establish complete democracy in Bangladesh without them.
This leader of BNP also said, Awami League will never give up, the conspiracy is going on. Different systems are operating on us in different ways, through different means. Today this theory comes, tomorrow that theory comes. This theory again unfortunately comes out of our mouths.
Mirza Abbas said, if Jamaat-e-Islami, BNP and other parties can come to one word without saying different things, if they can work unitedly, then the country will be reconstructed. Otherwise, our neighboring country India will continue to play with this country for the rest of its life. It can never be allowed to happen.
He said, maybe we could not be together sometime in the past. At some point we may have united and driven out the Awami League. Let’s see if we can try together in the future to make this country beautiful again.
