Amir of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, October 28 is the worst day of organized crimes against humanity in the history of the world. On this day in 2006, at the pre-announced gathering of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami at the North Gate of Baitul Mukarram, on the public orders of Sheikh Hasina, terrorists of Awami League, including the terrorist organizations Chhatra League and Jubo League, beat people to death like snakes with logs and stools. On this day, the country, politics and society lost their way in the chaos of Logi Baitha. Humanity died. He demanded justice for all those who were killed from October 28, 2006 to August 5, 2024.

On Monday (October 28) in the afternoon at the capital’s Engineers Institution (Ramana), Amir Md. of Dhaka Metropolitan South. Under the chairmanship of Nurul Islam Bulbul and the secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan South. He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the discussion meeting moderated by Shafiqul Islam Masud.

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman also said that thieves, robbers, murderers, corruptors and robbers escaped. No good man escapes. Only criminals escape. The crime they committed was proved by their escape. Now Awami have to start the trial process. This interim government may not be able to finish their trial. But they have to start. Awami League has judicially killed the leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami by raising fictitious charges. They have fought against the nation in the movement of students to kill the entire nation. The entire nation was on one side and the Awami League with its partner 14 parties was on the opposite side of the people. Those who have fought against the people, now they will ask for votes from the people, Amir Jamaat said, Awami League does not believe in democracy or voting. They believe in grabbing power with the help of foreigners.

Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami and former MP Professor Mia Golam Parwar said that Sheikh Mujibur Rahman established a one-party regime in Bangladesh from 1972 to 1975, established a dictatorship, murdered, disappeared, and made a history of vote robbery. People were disoriented by the oppression during his rule. After his death, the people of the country breathed a sigh of relief. Even his party leaders commented that Allah saved Bangladesh from Pharaoh. Later, the people of Bangladesh no longer accepted Awami League in the arena of politics. Sheikh Hasina apologized to the nation in 1996, repented, begged for a chance in the political arena and came to the mercy of the people in the political arena. After coming, Sheikh Hasina again started a conspiracy against the country and the people. Later, from 28 October 2006 to 5 August 2024, Bangladesh was turned into a prison with the help of India.

Speaking as a special guest at the event, BNP Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas praised the political talent, wisdom, ideals and honesty of Jamaat-e-Islami leaders and said that the August 5 revolution is part of the sacrifice of Jamaat-e-Islami leaders. Earlier our demand was that Hasina wanted a free Bangladesh. Now the demand is that Awami League wants a free Bangladesh. Awami League’s spies remain at the administrative level including police, RAB, army. Democracy cannot be established in real sense by maintaining them. Friends of Awami League bring out new theories every day from the administration. Again, they propagate this theory through the mouth of our political leaders. In the revolution of August 5, India has understood that everyone is united for the national interest of Bangladesh, regardless of party affiliation. So India wants to crack unity between us. That is why the leaders of all our political parties should be aware and cautious.

Abdus Salam, adviser to BNP chairperson, also called for unity in the event. At the time, he said that although no one was spared from the oppression of Awami League, the then camp presidents Shafiqul Islam Masud and Muhammad Delwar Hossain were the most victims of oppression. He also said that BNP wants to form the next government with all the agitating forces. Acting Chairman of BNP Tariq Rahman has also made a clear announcement about this. He demanded the release of Assistant Secretary General ATM Azhar.

Secretary of Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir Zahidul Islam said that fascism started on October 28, 2006. October 28 was the Formayeshi massacre of foreign Indians. Sheikh Hasina has publicly instructed to implement it. While comforting the family of martyrs who were killed by Sheikh Hasina, I got inspiration from them to devote myself to the Islamic movement. He also said that without these three qualities – integrity, efficiency and patriotism – leadership, the young generation will not accept. The young generation will boycott the leadership that does not have these three qualities.

In the president’s speech. Nurul Islam Bulbul said that the brutality of Awami League on October 28 is one of the worst events in the world. On the night of the 27th, the day before the handover of power to the four-party coalition government, Sheikh Hasina publicly instructed the terrorists of the Chhatra League and Jubo League to kill people from all over the country. Later on October 28 from morning to evening they beat people like snakes with logi-vaitha. They didn’t just kill, they danced on corpses. The then Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami urged the party leaders and workers to stand firm with courage from the Jamaat rally. The activists gave their lives and blood but did not run away from the streets. From October 28, 2006 to August 5, 2024, the Awami League engaged in the politics of murder, disappearance and killing, and kept the people of Bangladesh under siege. Bringing up the resolved issues of the independence war, Sheikh Hasina staged a drama and killed the leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami by hanging in the name of justice. Awami League’s target was to eliminate Jamaat-e-Islami. Then the people will have no political power against their misrule. BNP leader Begum Khaleda Zia was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment on a false case and kept under house arrest. With the fall of Awami League, the President canceled Begum Zia’s sentence without appeal. But why was the president silent before? Why didn’t any initiative be taken to cancel the false cases and framed verdicts in the name of political leaders? – Then did the president not represent Awami League? Questioning, he said that it was the President’s moral responsibility to go to India with Sheikh Hasina. He demanded the release of all political leaders including ATM Azharul Islam. He also called for the trial of Awami League’s maladministration to be completed quickly.
