Islamic Movement Bangladesh Emir Mufti Syed Mohammad Rezaul Karim Charmonai Pir said that it is not possible to hold elections in the country with the current constitution and president in power. The president has lost his ethics and constitutionality by lying. Fascist Sheikh Hasina left the country but did not take her cronies with her. This fallen fascist and autocratic Awami League government has used the Election Commission and administration to prolong the illegal power of Awami League through one-sided rigging and dummy elections, they must be brought under the law and face punishment.
Pir Saheb Charmonai said the above words in the speech of the chief guest at the meeting organized by Islamic Workers’ Movement Moulvibazar district branch on Sunday afternoon in Moulvibazar Government High School grounds.
Charmonai Pir also said that fallen fascist mass killers, looters and corrupt people should be banned from politics and declared disqualified and electoral system of proportional representation should be arranged in the next national elections. Before the 2008 national elections, we had been demanding annual elections. If this system had been introduced then, maybe a party like Awami League would not have had the opportunity to become a dictator and fascist like this. The president of the Awami government has lied and cheated the people of the country, morally and constitutionally he has lost his position. He should resign voluntarily to keep his dignity, or he should resign in disgrace if all the political parties of the country agree. The constitution can be changed according to the needs of the people of the country, because the students and youth have given their blood and life to change this constitution. They want a change in our political culture to establish an inclusive peaceful society and welfare state.
