Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central working council member and Dhaka metropolitan south secretary commented that Awami League has given weapons and drugs instead of giving books to the young generation. Shafiqul Islam Masood.
On Saturday (October 26) evening, he visited the ongoing Islamic book fair at the southeast gate of Baitul Mukarram Mosque and said these things in a short discussion.
He said, “Instead of books, the university library has made a drug den.” The halls have been made warehouses of weapons. For the last 15 years, Awami League has not allowed Islamic book fairs. When the Quran and Hadith were found in the hands of the scholars, the police arrested them, framed them as terrorists, and tortured them. Madrasa students were captured and labeled as militants. Even children and students were not spared from the attacks of Awami League.’
Dr. Masud said, ‘Fascism has been the primary victory of establishing Islam in Bangladesh through the departure of Awami League.’
He urged the visitors to play a role in the establishment of Islam by acquiring Islamic knowledge through the study of Islamic books and said, “Sheikh Hasina has also lied to the nation about prayers and recitation of the Quran. Sheikh Hasina used to say that she leads the country by reading the Quran after the Tahajjut prayer. But after Sheikh Hasina’s escape, many students found her prayer and Quran in Ganobhaban. But it was not found. Sheikh Hasina did not give books to the students because she did not read books. In the future, students will have books and pens. No student will be a burden to the family. Not drug control, drugs will be eradicated from Bangladesh.’
At this time Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka Metropolitan South Vice Amir Advocate Dr. Helal Uddin, Assistant Secretary Muhammad Delwar Hossain, Paltan South Thana Amir Shaheen Ahmed Khan, Dhaka Metropolitan South Working Council Member SM Kamal Uddin, Publicity and Media Department Coordinator Abdus Sattar Suman and others.
Later, the leaders visited the stalls of the book fair and exchanged greetings with traders and visiting visitors.
