Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said that Bangladesh lost its way on October 28, 2006 in the monstrous massacre of the masterminds of fascism. On that day, a demonic dance was performed on the dead bodies of patriots after they were beaten to death in the open streets. The whole world conscience was stunned by their hellishness. They were not human beings but savage beasts. They indulged in such crimes against humanity out of blind lack of power. This brutality continued till October 5, 2024. Basically, we got a new Bangladesh through the united movement of students; Fascism has fallen. He paid tribute to the martyrs of the student movement and expressed his condolences to the crippling injured.

He said that martyrs of August revolution are national heroes. Their sacrifice for the country and nation cannot be erased in any way. So the state should provide proper respect for them. The contribution of all martyrs from October 28 to August 5 revolution must be included in the curriculum of the national textbook. Their contribution and heroism should be known to the new generation. There is no alternative to protect the independence and sovereignty of the country. Their families should also be properly assessed. The state should show gratitude to the families of the martyrs by providing government jobs for at least one person from each martyr’s family. In all cases they should be given priority. Then they will be ready to make any sacrifice for the country and nation in the coming days. He promised to do everything possible for the families of the martyrs on behalf of the Jamaat.

Ameer Jamaat said, “We contacted the martyrs’ families after the August Revolution on behalf of Jamaat-e-Islami.” We did not show mercy to them but they kindly gave us time. Many of the revolutionaries suffered paralysis and blindness. Fascists tried to prolong their power by murder, terror and anarchy. But the power is never eternal but it is in the hands of God. Allah gives respite to the oppressors but does not release them. In that sequence, the Awami fascists have fallen humiliatingly. God will judge them in the Hereafter. They cannot be left in the world. And the fascists used to say that no one is above the law. He called for the accomplices of fascism to be brought under the law and given exemplary punishment. Otherwise the country and nation will not be free from stigma.

Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher said the leaders of the massacre and their accomplices fled to India. Bring them back to the country and ensure justice and exemplary peace. Not only individuals should be prosecuted but Awami League as a party and its affiliates should be banned immediately. He called upon all to remain united so that no one can spoil the victory achieved.

Salahuddin Ahmad said, some people claim that Awami League is the party with the authority. But their heritage is establishment of one-party tyranny in the country, murder, terror-anarchy and vote stealing. On October 28, they beat people to death on the streets through logi-baitha tandav. So mass resistance should be built against them.

Professor Mia Golam Parwar said, martyrs do not die but they are always alive. The names of the martyrs of our August Revolution will be written in golden letters on the pages of history. They will be rewarded in this world and hereafter. He urged everyone to be united against the conspiracy of fallen fascism.

Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan said, on October 28, a ruthless and cruel killing was carried out on the orders of Sheikh Hasina. Therefore, they should be punished and punished.

Mohammad Salim Uddin said in the president’s speech, “We have achieved freedom for the second time by bringing down the fascist Hasina through long sacrifices and sacrifices.” But our struggle does not end here but the journey has just begun. Because, the friends of the fascists are still continuing the conspiracy. Awami fascists killed 57 army officers and numerous clerics and tortured national leaders through mirroring. They ruthlessly and brutally killed the world-renowned religious scholars and eminent parliamentarian martyrs Ameer Jamaat Maulana Matiur Rahman Nizami, Allama Delawar Hossain Saeedi, Kamaruzzaman, Abdul Kader Molla, Mir Kasem Ali, Professor Ghulam Azam, Maulana AKM Yusuf and Maulana Abdus Sobhan. He called for the trial of the martyrs Abu Saeed and Mudd and to declare them as national heroes.

Members of the diplomatic corps, heads of various political parties, leaders of various social and professional organizations and thousands of members of the respected families of martyrs and half a thousand people who lost their limbs were present in the exchange meeting.

The program was organized in 3 sessions. Starting from 10 am till 1 30 minutes, the family of martyrs, national leaders spoke.
