It said that among the new admissions in the hospital, 151 people were infected in Barisal Division, 207 in Chittagong Division, 260 in Dhaka Division (outside City Corporation), 278 in Dhaka North City, 167 in Dhaka South City, 107 in Khulna Division. Also, 23 new patients were admitted in Rangpur division, 51 in Mymensingh division and 4 new patients in Sylhet division.
Meanwhile, 1195 dengue patients have been discharged from hospitals across the country in the last one day. 52 thousand 650 people got clearance this year.
According to the Department of Health, a total of 56 thousand 911 patients have been admitted to the hospital since January this year. 277 people have died of dengue so far this year. In addition, 321 thousand 179 people were admitted to the hospital due to dengue last year. 1 thousand 705 people died.
