It said that among the new patients admitted to the hospital, 262 people from Dhaka North City, 130 from Dhaka South City, 211 from Dhaka Division, 149 from Chittagong, 101 from Khulna, 31 from Mymensingh, 77 from Barisal, 24 from Rangpur, 51 from Rajshahi and 3 from Sylhet.
52 thousand 58 people have been affected by dengue this year. And 257 people died from the mosquito-borne disease.
Incidentally, last year, 321 thousand 179 patients were admitted to the hospital due to dengue. 1 thousand 705 people died at that time.
