Three members of the same family were shot dead by miscreants at Ukhia camp in Cox’s Bazar. The incident took place at Camp No. 17 in Ukhia in the early hours of Monday (October 21).
The deceased are Ahmad Hossain (65), his son Syedul Amin (28) and daughter Asma Begum (15), a resident of Camp-17 X Block of Rohingya camp in Ukhia.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ukhia Police Station Md. Arif confirmed the matter.
He said that the terrorists shot dead three members of the same family in the early hours of the morning. The body was recovered and sent to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital. However, the reason for the killing is not yet known. At the moment the situation in the camp is normal.
