Maulana Mamunul Haque, former Joint Secretary General of Hefazat Islam, said that Sheikh Hasina has been doing politics for 50 years. However, his politics of these 50 years was the politics of revenge from the people of Bangladesh and the country.
He said this while participating in the rally of Bangladesh Khilafat Majlis in Sonargaon on Sunday (October 20).
He said, ‘Sheikh Hasina has been in politics for 50 years. The politics of these 50 years was the politics of revenge from the people of Bangladesh and the country. Sheikh Hasina thinks that the people of this country are the murderers of her father. After the death of his father, the people of this country have eaten sweets and emptied all the shops in the country. That’s why he wants to take revenge.’
Addressing the Awami League leaders and activists, Mamunul Haque said, ‘You should repent. Repent and never do politics of Awami League. He repented never to dance behind this Sheikh family again. They have tarnished you once by committing bribery, and once again by carrying out genocide in 2024.’
He also said that the leaders and activists of every opposition party have been victims of disappearances and murders of Awami League. The scholars of this country have been the victims of their torture the most. Islamic organizations have repeatedly had to donate blood. In protecting the honor of the Prophet in the whole of Bangladesh, the leaders and activists had to give their blood. We want to make it clear that we will give more blood if necessary, but we will not tolerate any harm to Islam.
Bangladesh has been saved from the hands of Sheikh Hasina’s henchmen. Defeated forces are trying to raise their heads again. For 15 years, you have forbidden the night sleep of thousands of people in this country, you have not allowed the leaders and workers of the opposition party to stay at home. People could not do business in peace because of you.
In 2024, the world saw what Sheikh Hasina and her hammer, the Helmet League, did. They have converted the whole of Bangladesh into Mritupuri. Until the trial of this murder, the people of Bangladesh will face them wherever they come to carry out any program in the name of Awami League.
Now is not the time for us to quarrel. Fallen dictatorship is trying to create chaos in Bangladesh with the help of foreign countries. If Awami League tries to hold any program under the banner of their party, all parties will do whatever is necessary to expel them.
