There are big potholes somewhere on the 5 km broken road from Amulia Model Town to Baganbari in Banshri area. As there is no adequate drainage system for sewage, when it rains, the water quickly accumulates on the road. According to Dhaka Road Department sources, the road will be developed by casting 700 meters of RCC from Meradia Zamzam Tower area. Apart from this, the rest of the road is supposed to be repaired and developed through over layer. But in reality nothing can be noticed. The project engineer of the contracting company Tanveer Construction Limited. Motiar Rahman said, due to heavy rains, we are not able to start real work. At present the trenches are to be made passable with HBB brick soling topped with sand and stone. Sustainable development work will start as per the government guidelines when the rains are over.

It has also been seen on the ground that the contractors are planning to complete the development without lining the pit cover walls in the construction work of the road from East Buxnagar Bou Bazar to Hosseinia Mosque of Ward No. 67 of DSCC. Due to the big holes in the slopes on both sides of the Galakata Bridge, many people have been affected by the accident. The condition of some internal roads including Nijhumbagh and Rishipara in that ward is very fragile. The pitch of the road from Ward No. 70 Mostmazhi intersection to Thulthulia Bridge via Tamburabad has turned into a dirt road.
