President Joe Biden has announced an additional $425 million security aid package for Kiev amid Russia’s ongoing war in Ukraine. Stryker armored vehicles and advanced weapons are included in this package. The Biden administration continues to provide military aid to defeat Moscow in the Ukraine war.
On Wednesday (October 16), the US president spoke by phone with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to announce a new package of defense assistance to Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression. The news is from Tas News.
The new package will include the Stryker armored vehicle, the Badly Fighting Vehicle, the Pentagon said. The previous package included Badley.
It also has additional air defense capabilities, air-to-ground munitions, armored vehicles and critical munitions to meet its urgent military needs. The United States will deliver more equipment to Ukraine in the coming months, including hundreds of air defense systems, dozens of tactical air defense systems, additional artillery systems, hundreds of armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles.
Biden is scheduled to host a virtual meeting of the Ukraine Defense Liaison Group next month to coordinate international assistance to Ukraine.
