Attack on UN peacekeepers in Lebanon

Three UN peacekeeping positions in Lebanon were targeted. The UN forces claimed that the Israeli forces carried out the attack. Two separate locations were attacked on Thursday (October 10). The other attack was carried out on Wednesday (October 9).

UN forces say Israel continues to attack Hezbollah bases in southern Lebanon. There is fierce fighting going on. Netanyahu’s forces are not allowing civilians in the region to return home. In the meantime, the place used by the UN forces was attacked.

The peacekeepers also said in one incident Israeli tanks fired and fired at a watchtower at the force’s main headquarters in Nakora. The tower collapsed. Two of their peacekeepers were injured there. No casualties were reported in the other two incidents. Any deliberate attack on peacekeepers is a serious violation of international humanitarian law. And this is what the Israeli army did.

However, Israel did not respond to this incident. It seems they are trying to avoid the issue

Meanwhile, Lebanon’s resistance fighters, Hezbollah, launched more than 150 rocket attacks on Israel. Two Israelis were killed in the group’s attack. Several others were injured at this time.

Doctors said Hezbollah fired a rocket at the border town of Kiryat Shimona. A woman and a man were seriously injured and died due to shrapnel from their rockets. Both of them are around 40 years old.

Hezbollah said they attacked Kiryam Shimona targeting Israeli forces. Most of the residents of the area have left the area due to counter-attacks by both sides.
