This year’s HSC and equivalent exam results will be published on October 15 (Tuesday).
On Monday (October 7), Inter-Education Board Coordinating Committee President and Dhaka Education Board Chairman Tapan Kumar Sarkar gave this information.
He said that the results of HSC and equivalent examinations will be published on October 15 at 11 am.
The results of the six HSC and equivalent examinations, which were canceled around the quota reform movement, will be prepared through the subject mapping system. There, 25 percent of the marks obtained in JSC and 75 percent of the marks obtained in SSC will be given to the students in that subject.
Earlier, the education board officials informed that the six exams have been canceled for which subject mapping of JSC and SSC exams will be done for evaluation. That is, the result will be prepared by averaging the marks obtained in JSC and SSC and equivalent examinations. In this case, 25 percent of the marks obtained in JSC and 75 percent of the marks obtained in SSC will be given to the students in the respective subject. For example, if you get 100 marks in JSC in one subject, 25 marks will be taken from it and if you get 100 marks in SSC in the same subject, 75 marks will be taken. If these two marks are added, the marks obtained by the student in that subject in HSC will be 100.
This year HSC exam started on June 30. The examination was conducted properly till July 16. In view of the quota movement, first the examination on July 18 and then on July 21, 23 and 25 were postponed. Sometimes major events like change of government have happened.
The question paper trunks were damaged due to the attack on various police stations. Dates of remaining exams are changed several times based on overall situation. Recently, the new date was fixed on September 11. Among them, a group of students started a movement demanding cancellation of the postponed exams.
